2025 Memorial Day Celebration

Join Us for PBRA’s Annual Memorial Day Celebration on Sunday, May 25th!

Let’s kick off the summer together with one of our favorite PBRA traditions! Gather your suits, towels, and appetites—it’s time for our Memorial Day Pool Party!

PBRA will be serving up some of our summer favorites—hot dogs, pulled pork, and grilled chicken starting at 3:30 PM. We will be set up and ready to receive food at 2:45 PM, so come early to hang out, swim, and soak up the fun before we eat.

We kindly ask each family attending to bring a dish to share. Whether it’s a side, dessert, or your signature summer salad, we’d love to see what you bring to the table! Sign up here (we are also looking for a few folks to help with set-up or clean up).

Bring your own beverages, as PBRA will not be providing drinks.
Reminder, NO GLASS is permitted in or on the pool deck.

This is always a fun-filled afternoon full of delicious food, great company, and lasting memories. 

*Note: This is a members only event, guest fees will be applicable if guests attend with a member.  Just be sure to follow our usual guest fee guidelines.

We can’t wait to see everyone poolside to celebrate the holiday and kick off summer together!

Adult Casino Night

Are you feeling lucky? Well, are you?

If so, please plan on coming to our Adults Only “Casino Night” at the pool this Saturday, August 8, beginning at 6:00 p.m.! Now, I don’t want to give the wrong impression – we will not have professional card dealers dressed in tuxedos. But we will have a few gaming tables set up and some other fun games and activities – volleyball, belly flop contest, whatever else Mary Boland comes up with . . . It is guaranteed to be a fun event!

Come with a cooler of your favorite beverage and, if you like, an entrée for you and your guests. We will have the grills fired up and you can cook to your heart’s delight! Also, bring a dish to share – the usual routine, bring a side dish if your last name starts with A – M; bring a dessert or something sweet if your last name starts with N – Z. We will provide plates, plastic ware, napkins, etc.

Good times, good food, good music, good drink – sitting by the pool with your friends and neighbors! What else could make the evening even better?

NO KIDS!!

Also, feel free to bring guests! Just remember the $2 guest fee.

End of the school year party and cookout

On Friday, May 22 we will celebrate the end of the school year.  Starting at 6:00, pizza and sodas will be served at the pool.  Please bring an item to share,  boys bring something salty and girls bring something sweet.  The non-students cost is only 2 dollars per person. We also will play some bingo and give out some prizes. Let’s get together and celebrate all the hard work our children have done this school year.

On Sunday, May 24 we will be celebrating Memorial Day and our Membership Drive. Everyone is welcome. PBRA will have the food ready by 2:00. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and sodas will be provided. We do ask each family coming to bring a dish to share. Families with their last name starting with A thru M please bring a side dish and families with their last name starting with N thru Z please bring a dessert to share. This will be a wonderful day with plenty of games, contests, prizes, good friends, new friends and memories. We hope to see you all out there. This will kick off the start of a wonderful fun filled summer.

4th of July BBQ

After the responses I have received back form the Fourth of July email these were the results for a BBQ:

  • 24 no
  • 2 maybe

What I would like to do is have the grill going for anyone that wants to out cookout themselves on Friday between the hours of 11-2. Mary will have games/activities at that time also.

Thanks to all that came out to the pool to make our first annual PBRA Extravaganza a huge success. I hope that everyone had as much fun as I did.  Here are a few pictures from the event.

A special thanks to Mary Boland for all of the activities she planned and for the wonderful prizes and to Jack Siegal for cooking in the hot sun.
