Parties under 10 people shouldn’t need a Lifeguard. Please contact Bonnie Folker to confirm this. Whether you need a guard or not, you will still need to contact Bonnie Folker first to make sure the time and date for your event is available. PBRA charges a $50 flat party fee along with a guess fee of $5.00 for the first guest and $2 for each additional guest. PBRA Pool members are welcome to use the pool during pool parties.
To schedule a Pool Party over 10 people you will need to schedule a lifeguard once you have received approval from Bonnie Folker. To do so, you will need to contact Steven Jacobs of ProGuard Pool Maintenance. Steven can be reached at 770-366-7927 or Steven@proguardpm.com. Lifeguard hours and rates can be provided by ProGuard.
The following scale shall be used to determine the number of lifeguards required for an after-hours event:
Up to 25 people — 1 lifeguard
26 to 60 people — 2 lifeguards
61 to 100 people — 3 lifeguards
101 or more — 4 lifeguards
All party guests and members must agree to follow PBRA’s standard pool rules during the party. All parties also agree that they are responsible for “After Party” clean up.
Note: One additional lifeguard shall be required for any teenage party, college age party, or for any party involving alcoholic beverages. Customer agrees to provide one adult chaperone for each ten (10) people at a teenage or college age party. Prices are subject to change and are controlled by and should be paid to the Pool Maintenance Company.
