The Piedmont Bend Yellow Pages
We’re trying to put together a “Yellow Pages” of Piedmont Bend residents — jobs you can do that your neighbors might be able to use. This can be simple things like babysitting, lawn mowing, car washing, or bigger tasks like plumbing, roofing or deck work.
The advantages are two-fold:
1 — It’s often easier to get help from someone if they’re local. For example, I certainly wouldn’t mind knowing about some babysitters in the subdivision that we could call on.
2 — It’s a great way to support each other. Why send money to a faceless landscape service to clear out your leaves, when someone down the street would love the chance to earn a few dollars?
Use the PB Yellow Pages link in the sidebar to keep up with the list, and please send me your info if you’d like to be included. The more people we add to the page, the more useful it will be for everyone.
Thanks!
Mickey

Clean-up day 2008
Clean-Up day was a huge success! Although the rain prevented us from finishing all of the items on our list, most of the sprucing up was done. I want to personally thank the following families for showing up and lending their support: Donnellys, Schnurrs, Scotts, Valdezes, Butlers, McGorans, Fishers, Siegals, Deneens, Simpsons, Tannenbaums, Puchs, Chamisons and the Nowlins. Thank you all for making our grounds look that much better. Click here to check out some pictures from the day.
Tennis Courts: We have replaced the locks on the Tennis Courts. If you have paid for your Tennis Membership please contact Kevin to set up a time for a new key.
